Cam Rogers aka Mixer Rogers
I am a DJ in Austin, Texas. And I love my job.
I moved to Austin to play the drums in 1995 and have been in love with the music scene ever since. I was lucky enough to play Austin City Limits Music Festivals twice with my band SpaceTruck. I still play the drums with my dub rock outfit, Big Breakfast, and I started DJing professionally back in 2012.
I spin an eclectic mix of music, blending the classic and the current, with genres ranging from funky blues to dub to old soul to classic cumbia and classic country, indie rock, pop, and hip-hop… and everything in between. I throw a lot of Austin and Texas artists into the mix. It’s soulful. Fun. Groovy. Upbeat. If you have a particular event or sonic theme, I will match the music to the occasion.
I was honored to be one of five nominees for Best DJ at the 2019/2020 and 2024/2025 Austin Music Awards . In a city with so much talent, that is pretty amazing.
I’m available for private parties, corporate events, milestone celebrations, special occasions, and all types of wild and crazy (fun)ctions. I’d love to help you set the perfect vibe at your next get-together.
